Our Story...
Apricot Gold's journey began in 2023, upon discovering how difficult it is to find beautiful, maximalist jewellery that was both long-lasting and affordable. Several tarnished pieces and broken hearts later, we decided to start creating a women-owned brand that would deliver dreamy, gold pieces made to truly be lived in. After much hard work, we finally celebrated our official launch in June 2025.
Born from Salty Seas...
This is where we're established, south of the UK on the Kentish coastline! Living by the sea inspired us to create a brand that offers exclusively waterproof pieces that can stand up to showers and saltwater alike. This is also how we put every design to the ultimate test before officially launching them for sale on our website.
What Makes our Pieces Waterproof and Tarnish-free?
All of our designs are crafted from 316L stainless steel, a metal known for its durability against rust and corrosion. Each piece is then plated with 18K gold using a technique called Physical Vapour Deposition (PVD), which bonds a thick layer of the gold onto the metal's surface.
Unlike traditional gold plating which fades and flakes over time, PVD creates a long-lasting finish that’s both water and tarnish-proof. This process also means our pieces are naturally hypoallergenic, making them perfect for all skin-types.
